What is the EB-5 Investor Visa Program?
The EB-5 Program was created by the U.S. government in 1990 to attract foreign capital to the United States and create jobs for American workers. It provides a direct path to permanent residency (Green Card) for you, your spouse, and any children under the age of 21. Unlike temporary visa programs like H-1B, EB-5 offers a permanent solution with 10,000 visas available annually.
-
How much do I need to invest in an EB-5 project?
The investment amount depends on the project location:
- $1,050,000 for standard investment areas
- $800,000 when investing through a USCIS designated regional center in a Target Employment Area (TEA)
Most of our projects qualify for the reduced $800,000 investment amount. Additionally, there is a syndication fee of $60,000, bringing the total initial investment to $860,000 for TEA projects.
-
What are the main requirements for an EB-5 visa?
There are two basic requirements:
- Investment: $800,000 (in TEA) or $1,050,000 (standard areas)
- Job Creation: Create 10 full-time jobs for U.S. workers
When you invest through a regional center, the job creation requirement is handled by the project, so you don't need to worry about directly creating or managing these positions.
-
What are the advantages of investing through a Regional Center?
Regional Center investments offer several key benefits:
- Lower minimum investment of $800,000 (compared to $1,050,000)
- No need to personally manage job creation
- You're not required to live in the same state where the project is located
- No day-to-day management responsibilities
- Faster processing times with approved rural projects
- Your investment works for you while securing your U.S. future
-
What is the EB-5 application timeline and process?
The typical process includes:
- Review projects with our team and select your investment
- Proof of funds documentation
- Appoint an immigration attorney (fees approximately $15,000)
- Background check and application preparation
